COP 29 – In Person & Livestreamed Side Event: Climate Change-Resilient Education Systems in the Most Vulnerable Nations

This side event organized by MECCE Project partner, the Global Education Monitoring, UNESCO, Education Cannot Wait, and the Islamic Development Bank focuses on the critical link between education and climate resilience in low- and lower-middle-income countries most vulnerable to climate change. It aims to highlight how strengthening education systems can support climate resilience, sustainable development, and the Paris Agreement’s goals. Manos Antoninis, Director of the UNESCO Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report, will moderate the session, which will take place on Monday, November 18th, from 11:30 to 13:00 local time (8:30 CET) at the MDB Pavilion. The event will be livestreamed on the Islamic Development Bank’s YouTube channel.
